Twenty years after the stone.
Since 2004 Winner Marble has managed every link of the natural stone supply chain in-house: block selection at the quarry, cutting and surface finishes, project planning, packing and delivery to site.
The right stone comes from the right block.
In natural stone, quality is a matter of the block, not the catalogue. Two blocks from the same quarry can have entirely different vein density, tone and fissuring. That is why the work always begins with block selection: before cutting we assess vein direction, colour continuity and suitability for the application together.
Once cut, the slabs are numbered, photographed and the bookmatch layout is submitted for your approval. That way every slab heading to site has a known place and order of installation — the surprises stay at the quarry.
We supply 83 stone varieties from 15 countries, from stock and through our quarry connections. We work at every scale, from a single slab to container-based export.

Questions we are asked
A block is the unprocessed mass of stone taken from the quarry, typically 2.5–3 m long and weighing 15–25 tonnes. A slab is that block sliced by gang-saw into 2 cm or 3 cm thicknesses. Slabs from the same block carry consecutive veining, which is why bookmatch and continuous layouts can only be done from a single block.
Two slabs cut consecutively from the same block are opened like a book and set side by side in mirror symmetry. A quadmatch, made with four slabs, produces a butterfly effect around the centre. Bookmatch requires slabs from the same block and the same cutting sequence, so the area has to be planned from the outset.
Quartzites and dolomites (Copacabana, Tropical Storm, Eramosa) are the most durable choices for worktops, with high hardness and low water absorption. Classic marbles are sensitive to acidic staining; if used on a worktop, a honed surface and periodic impregnation are recommended.
Onyx is translucent — it lets light through. At 15–20 mm and mounted over an LED panel, its banded structure lights up and gains depth. In backlit applications the slab's thickness tolerance and resin reinforcement are critical.
There is no minimum for slab sales; a single slab can be supplied. Block sales and dedicated quarry selections are planned on a container basis. We decide the most suitable supply format together, based on the area of your project.
Yes. Physical samples of 10×10 cm or 20×20 cm are sent within Türkiye and abroad. For large-area projects, full-size slab selection can also be made with slab photographs and video.
